Police Seeking Information Following Suspected DUI Crash in Winslow Township

Police sirenWINSLOW TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Route 310 in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Police say at 11:15 p.m. on November 29, a 54-year-old North Carolina man was traveling north in a 2008 Chevrolet Impala.

The vehicle traveled into the right berm causing the driver to lose control.

The vehicle spun 180 degrees counterclockwise crossing the southbound lane of the road.

The vehicle then traveled off the roadway and down an embankment, the vehicle was brought to final rest after striking a large rock.

Police report that alcohol was believed to be involved in causing the crash.

Investigation is ongoing and lab results are pending.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call the DuBois-based State Police at 814-371-4652.
