BRADY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are seeking information on an incident of theft by deception that occurred yesterday on Pine Swamp Road, in Luthersburg, Brady Township, Clearfield County.
According to police, around 12:25 p.m. on August 15, the suspects came to a 70-year-old Luthersburg woman’s residence stating they had extra paving material and wanted to fix her driveway. Before the victim could say “No,” the suspects sprayed the material and attempted to charge the victim a substantial amount.
Once police were contacted, the suspects fled the scene.
