Police Seeking Information on Thefts in Huston Township

HUSTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are currently seeking information on two thefts that recently occurred in Huston Township.

According to police, sometime between 7:00 p.m. on October 16 and 7:00 a.m. on October 17, unknown suspect(s) removed items, including eight solar panels, from a well site in the area of Weiss Grade Road in Huston Township, Clearfield County.

A second theft then took place around 8:56 p.m. on October 20 when unknown suspects cut the lock on a gate in the area of Weiss Grade Road.

Police say during the second theft, the suspects were operating a pick-up truck that appeared to be an older model Chevrolet. They reportedly cut several locks and removed batteries, as well as a large lime-green metal box containing numerous spare parts for the job site.
