BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, around 10:40 p.m. on August 11, an incident of criminal mischief occurred at Walter Dick Park, on Water Plant Road, in Brookville, Jefferson County.
Police discovered a tree burning in the area of Walter Dick Park in Brookville and dispatched Brookville Volunteer Fire Department to put the tree fire out.
Through the course of an investigation, it was determined that 18-year-old Ozzy Smyers, of Brookville, and two juveniles allegedly lit the tree on fire and left the scene.
Smyers and the two juveniles are being charged with criminal mischief.
