Police: Transient Sex Offender Fails to Register After Changing Residence

SNYDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A transient sex offender last known to be living in the Brockway area was charged for allegedly failing to verify his address.

Court documents indicate that DuBois-based State Police filed criminal charges against 53-year-old RJ Condrey Jr., of Brockway, on Tuesday, March 28, in Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office.

according to a criminal complaint, in the commission of this crime, the suspect–RJ Condrey Jr.–failed to verify his address under the requirements of Megan’s Law for a transient.

Condrey last verified his address at PSP DuBois on October 15, 2022, the complaint states.

Condrey left Just For Jesus on October 17, 2022, and was admitted to Clarion Behavioral Health Unit. He was discharged from Clarion Behavioral on October 22, 2022, and did not return to Just For Jesus, the complaint indicates.

Condrey failed to register a new address within three business days as required, the complaint notes.

On March 21, investigators checked PA SORT and discovered Condrey was last registered on October 15, 2022, at PSP DuBois, the complaint states.

Police then spoke with a staff member at Just For Jesus, who advised Condrey left the ministry on October 17 and was headed to DRMC (DuBois Regional Medical Center.) Condrey did not return to the ministry, the complaint indicates.

Police contacted DRMC and were advised Condrey was sent to the Clarion Behavioral Health Unit on October 17. Investigators then contacted the Clarion Behavioral Health Unit and were advised Condrey was released on October 22, the complaint notes.

Condrey faces the following charge:

  • Transient – Failure to Verify Address or Be Photographed, Felony 1

As of March 28, a preliminary hearing has not yet been set.
