Police: Two Brookville Teens Charged with Theft of Scrap Metal

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Around 12:30 p.m. on July 22, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the Allegheny Mountain Recycling on Route 830, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County, to investigate a call about scrap metal theft.

According to police, 19-year-old Steven Troy Lucas and 19-year-old Jordan Thomas Matthews, both of Brookville, were subsequently taken into custody by PSP Punxsutawney when they were allegedly discovered to be in possession of stolen scrap metal.

Charges are pending.
