KNOX TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say an incident of Theft by Deception occurred on Center Hill Road, in Knox Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, a known, 35-year-old Brookville man was scammed into wiring money through Western Union.
The incident occurred sometime between January 30, 2015, and February 2, 2015.
The total amount lost is $540.00.
The investigation continues.
