Police Warn Public of Quick Change Scam

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say sometime between 5:23 p.m. and 5:33 p.m. on June 26, a quick change scam occurred at Get-Go on Allegheny Blvd., in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police are investigating a quick change scam where the perpetrators quickly have the cashier make them change, confuse them, and scam them out of money.

According to police, two unknown black males dressed in khaki pants, one with a blue dress shirt and the other with a lighter colored dress shirt, were seen on video committing this crime. They left the store in a gray or silver in color newer model Cadillac.
