Possible Tornado Touchdown North of Punxsutawney

NWS_LogoPUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – There was a possible tornado touchdown six miles north of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County.

According to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh, there was one unconfirmed report of a tornado touchdown six miles north of Punxsutawney.

This stemmed from the storm that prompted the recently expired tornado warning for portions of Jefferson County between Brookville and Punxsutawney.

The National Weather Service is investigating the report.
