Reynoldsville Man Escapes Injury in Rollover Crash in Brady Township

BRADY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on Kriner Road, in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, around 1:01 p.m., 23-year-old John R. Wingert, of Reynoldsville, was traveling east on Kriner Road in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Wingert lost control of the Silverado as he crossed a section of icy roadway.

The pickup subsequently rotated approximately 90 degrees counterclockwise, exited the north side of the roadway, and struck a ditch. The pickup then traveled along the ditch and overturned. The pickup came to a final rest on the roadway on its roof facing west, police say.

Wingert was using a seat belt and was not injured.

No airbags were deployed.

No citations were issued due to poor roadway conditions, according to police.

Brady Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Zimmerman Towing removed the pickup from the scene.
