Charges Filed in Brookville Theft by Deception Case

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police have filed charges against a known Emlenton man for theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

After an investigation, it is alleged that on January 8, the man obtained access to a Ford truck being offered for sale by an individual, police say.

The man took the truck and its title and never returned, according to police.

Charges were filed at Magistrate Gregory Bazylak’s office.

The name of the suspect was not released.
