CHEST TWP., Clearfield Co., Pa. (EYT) — A snow-covered road apparently contributed to the cause of a traffic crash Saturday night in Chest Township.
According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, Jonathan A. Bryan, 19, of Manns Choice, Pa., was driving a 2003 Subaru Impreza north on Punkin Ridge Road around 8:33 p.m when he lost control on the snow-covered road.
The vehicle slid through the T intersection onto Westover Road, left the road, and hit a tree on an embankment.
Bryan was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash.
