Police Investigating Theft from Cooksburg Cafe Vending Machine

state_policeBARNETT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say an incident of theft took place as the Cooksburg Cafe in Barnett Township, Forest County.

Police say this incident occurred between August 3, 2015 and August 4, 2015 when an unknown actor(s) cut a chain that was wrapped around a Coca-cola and Dasani water machine which was used to secure them in place and prevent the doors from being opened.

The actor(s) then used a key or similar tool to open the machines, according to police.

Once inside the machines, police say the actor(s) stole the money from inside the machines.

The machines were closed and the actor(s) fled the scene.
