Police Seek Info on Corsica Hit-and-Run Crash

CORSICA BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police are investigating a recent hit-and-run accident in Corsica, Jefferson County.

Police say the accident happened on February 2 around 7:00 a.m. when an unknown vehicle traveled off the west side of Route 322 and struck the driver side rear of a parked 1997 Pontiac Sunfire.

The impact caused damage to the tail light, rear quarter panel, and driver side mirror of the parked vehicle.

Police say the driver of the unknown vehicle then left the scene without making notification of the accident.

According to police, yellow paint transfer was found on the parked vehicle, possibly from a snow plow.
