Lane Restrictions in Place on I-80 in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. – Daylight lane restrictions are scheduled this week for I-80 West between Exit 97 and Exit 86 in Jefferson County, as part of the I-80 Jefferson Concrete Rehabilitation Project in Washington Township.

These lane restrictions are in place beginning today, April 16 and will continue until work has been completed in the Westbound lanes.

Once the work in the westbound lanes is complete, long-term lane restrictions will be in place on Interstate 80 East between Exit 86 and Exit 97 to complete the final phase of this three year project.

Motorists are advised to slow down and use extra care when traveling through the construction areas and be alert for slow moving traffic approaching the work zones. Remember to drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
