Brookville Man Injured in Route 322 Collision

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash yesterday in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

Punxsutawney-based State Police say the accident happened around 10:03 a.m. on State Route 322.

According to police, 87-year-old David N. Beveridge, and 68-year-old Roger W. Smith, both of Brookville, were involved in the collision.

Beveridge was stopped on the roadway for undisclosed reasons, causing Smith to stop behind him.

Police say Beveridge backed up on the roadway, causing his vehicle to strike Smith’s vehicle.

Smith was transported to Penn Highlands Dubois for treatment of minor injuries.

Beveridge was not injured.
