Teen Charged in Punxsy Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident

policePUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney Borough Police have released details surrounding a March 21 vehicle vs. pedestrian accident.

Police say Morgan Miller, 18, of Walston, was turning left onto South Gilpin Street when she failed to see Tameian Stuckey, of Philadelphia, entering the crosswalk.

Miller allegedly fled the accident scene after her vehicle struck Stuckey’s leg.

Police were able to locate Miller a short time later.

Stuckey was transported by ambulance to the Punxsutawney Hospital ER for treatment. There is no word on her current condition.

Punxsutawney Central Fire Department assisted at the scene.

The following charges were filed against Miller on March 24 at District Judge Chambers’ office:

  • Failure Stop And Give Information/Render Aid, Summary
  • Failure To Yield Right Of Way To Pedestrian, Summary

The charges were filed via a summons.
