Falls Creek Woman Caught Stealing Scrap Metal

state_policeFALLS CREEK, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a Falls Creek Woman is facing charges after being caught stealing scrap metal in Falls Creek Borough, Jefferson County.

Police say a known woman was caught in the act of stealing scrap metal pieces from the Buffalo-Pittsburgh Railroad at 7:27 p.m. on July 5, 2015.

She was in possession of 121.2 pounds of scrap metal worth an estimated $7.56, according to police.

Police say charges are pending against the perpetrator, but her name was not released.
