UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police report a one vehicle crash took place in Union Township, Clearfield County.
Police say the crash occurred at 3:23 a.m. on August 12, 2015 as 65-year-old Christine T. Delfeld was traveling east on Interstate 80 in the right lane of travel near mile marker 105.
A deer entered the roadway in front of Delfeld’s 2002 Saab 9-5 and impacted the vehicle causing disabling damage.
Delfeld was able to bring the vehicle to a controlled stop along the right berm of the roadway.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Zimmerman Towing.
Delfeld was wearing her seat belt and sustained no injuries.
