Tractor-Trailer Crashes into Guard Rail, Jackknifes on Route 28 in Warsaw Township

police-lights-3WARSAW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred late Friday night on State Route 28, 1/4 mile north of Mays Road, in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 11:51 p.m. on January 27, 42-year-old Pedro A. Baez, of Chicago, IL, was traveling south on Route 28 and lost control of his 2011 Peterbilt Conventional tractor-trailer.

The truck impacted a guard rail and then jackknifed.

Baez and his passenger 52-year-old Irene F. Martinez, of Chicago, Il., were using seat belts and were not injured.
