21-Year-Old Reynoldsville Woman Injured After Crashing Head-On into Tree

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a one-vehicle crash with injuries occurred around 9:55 p.m. on May 10, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, the crash occurred as 21-year-old Jamie L. Guertin, of Reynoldsville, was traveling north on Stevenson Hill Road just north of White Road.

Geurtin traveled off the east side of the roadway and struck a tree head-on with her 1998 Toyota Avalon XL, police say.

Guertin was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and sustained injuries of unknown severity.

She was transported to Penn Highlands Hospital in DuBois by Dusan EMS for treatment.

The vehicle sustained major disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Guertin was cited with a traffic violation.
