State Fire Marshal Investigating RV Fire in Winslow Twp.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police say around 1:27 p.m. on January 22, a fire occurred at a residence on Park Street in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, a fire investigation was conducted at a residence located on Park Street in Winslow Township.

Sykesville Fire Department and unnamed mutual aid companies responded to an RV on fire adjacent to a garage. The RV was completely destroyed by the fire; however, the garage suffered only minor damage. A Harley Davidson motorcycle inside the garage also suffered minor damage.

The PA State Police Fire Marshal Unit was requested to investigate the fire’s origin and cause.

An investigation is pending and the nature of the fire has yet to be determined. Damages were estimated at $10,000.
