Public Invited to March 22 Meeting for County Comprehensive Plan Update

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Jefferson County Planning Commission is hosting a public meeting at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 22, at the Heritage House in Brookville as it begins to work on updating its Comprehensive Plan.

The plan was last updated in 2005. It will provide an analysis of change, a general agenda, and a blueprint for the future while maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for the county and its municipalities.

In addition to gathering and analyzing information from many sources, input and feedback from local residents, businesses, and others interested in the future of the county are welcomed.

The county planning commission and The EADS Group will coordinate the meeting.

The first half of the meeting will be devoted to providing information on the planning process and the remainder will be to solicit public input on assets and issues faced by the county and its communities.

People living in, doing business, or just interested in the future of the county are urged to attend.
