PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney Appreciation Day is set to take place this Saturday, September 27, in Barclay Square, Punxsutawney.
The event is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There will be music, games, entertainment, pie contests, and a talent show.
A craft fair will also be held at the same time in the Eagles, located across E. Mahoning Street from Barclay Square.
The Eagles will also host a dance, featuring musical entertainment by the band “Head On,” on Saturday night starting at 9:00 p.m.
This year, Punxsutawney Appreciation Day is sponsored by Eagles Aerie #1231, the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce, and PRIDE.
