PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club will host “Gobbler’s Knob Got Talent” Sunday, February 1 as part of the 2015 Groundhog Day festivities.
“Gobbler’s Knob Got Talent” will begin at 6 p.m. at the Celebration Tent located in Barclay Square.
Two finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges to perform on the stage at Gobbler’s Knob during Groundhog Day on February 2.
The finalists will receive two Inner Circle Passes and a Parking Pass for Groundhog Day.
The Grand Prize Winner will be determined on Groundhog Day morning by the crowd at Gobbler’s Knob and receive a $300 Grand Prize.
Those interested in participating can submit the “Gobbler’s Knob Got Talent” participant form available here.
Participant forms must be submitted by January 16 to the Groundhog Club at 200 W. Mahoning Street Suite 1, Punxsutawney, Pa. 15767 or director@groundhogclub.com.
Video submissions may also be included along with the participant form.
One participant may be selected to perform at the Annual Groundhog Banquet from the video submissions.
The Groundhog Club will select participants to perform at the preliminary event on Sunday, February 1. Those chosen to perform their two to four minute talent will be notified by the Groundhog Club of their performance time in advance.
