Punxsutawney Man Accused of Damaging Victim’s Vehicle

BELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 9:30 p.m. on August 21, an incident of Criminal Mischief allegedly occurred on Elderberry Hill Road, in Bell Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 31-year-old Joshua W. Sears, of Punxsutawney, allegedly damaged the car door of a Silver GMC Envoy owned by a 30-year-old Punxsutawney man.

Sears and a woman got into a verbal altercation outside of the residence at the above described location which resulted in Sears allegedly kicking the car door causing damage to same.

A summary citation was filed on Sears at Magisterial District Court 54-3-01.
