Punxsy Man Escapes Injuries in Rollover Crash in Pine Creek Township

PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a rollover crash in Pine Creek Township on Friday morning.

According to police, the accident occurred around 4:51 a.m. on May 22, on Fuller Road in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 34-year-old John P. Arose, of Punxsutawney, was operating a 2018 Subaru Outback, traveling south on Fuller Road, when he crossed over the northbound lane and struck an embankment on the eastern berm of the roadway.

The vehicle overturned onto its passenger side and slid down Fuller Road in the northbound lane, then overturned onto its roof, where it came to a final rest.

Arose was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Pine Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Jefferson County EMS, and McPherson’s Towing assisted at the scene.
