PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney police say a firearms violation took place along Greenwood Avenue in Punxsutaweny Borough.
According to police, Eugene Reitz, Jr., of Punxsutawney, is the subject of an active PFA (Protection From Abuse) order, and as a result, he is not permitted to possess a firearm.
Reitz was allegedly found to be in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun and a .243 caliber rifle.
Police took possession of the weapons and brought Reitz into custody.
He was placed in the Jefferson County Jail on various charges.
