Punxsy Man Accused of Following Couple, Threatening to Kill Woman, Beat Up Man

PUNXSUTAWNEY BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A Punxsutawney man is facing criminal charges after he allegedly followed a couple and threatened to kill the woman and beat up the man.

Court documents indicate the Punxsutawney-based State Police filed criminal charges against 45-year-old Darin C Milliron, on September 17.

According to a criminal complaint, around 12:26 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, PSP Punxsutawney were dispatched to a report of a rolling domestic incident in progress in Young Township after a known victim reported being followed by Darrin Milliron.

At the scene, the victim told police she was at a business in Punxsutawney when Milliron drove by, then stopped his truck and threatened to kill her and beat up her boyfriend. Milliron then allegedly followed the victims to a gas station.

The victim said when she left the gas station, Milliron was waiting in his truck on No. 8 Road in Punxsutawney for her and the second victim to drive by. She said after they went by, Milliron pulled out and began tailgating them. He followed them onto Walston Road until the victim pulled into the Punxsutawney-based State Police station, according to the complaint.

The victims both provided written statements.

Police then attempted to interview Milliron but were unable to make contact with him.

Milliron was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline J. Mizerock at noon on Friday, September 18, on the following charges:

– Terroristic Threats W/Intent To Terrorize Another, Misdemeanor 1
– Stalking – Repeatedly Commit Acts To Cause Fear, Misdemeanor 1
– Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting, Misdemeanor 3
– Harassment – Follow In Public Place, Summary

He remains free on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.

A preliminary hearing for the case has not yet been scheduled.
