MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – State Police have filed felony charges against a 32-year-old man in connection with an August 29 camp burglary in Millcreek Township, Clarion County.
Clarion-based State Police say Charles William Pershing, 32, of Blairsville, was apprehended by Punxsutawney-based State Police after he was stopped for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, police located numerous items belonging to the victim of an August 29 burglary at a cabin in Millcreek Township, Clarion County.
Pershing faces the following charges:
– Burglary – Overnight Accommodation, No Person Present (Felony 1)
– Criminal Trespass – Breaking Into Structure (Felony 2)
– Theft By Unlawful Taking-Movable Property (Felony 3)
Pershing is awaiting a preliminary hearing. No date has been set as of September 3.
Police say the items have been returned to the victim.
