Halos. sundogs. auroras, and green flashes are all weather-related colors in the sky.
Visitors can learn about the several kinds of optical effects that can show up in our atmosphere and what causes them.
The event runs from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the center located at 201 N. Findley Street.
Pre-registration is helpful, but walk-ins are welcome.
A snack and free time on the exhibits are included.
The cost is $8.00 per person. Kids under two are admitted free. All major credit cards accepted.
