Ralph J. Korb

Ralph J. Korb, 99, Grampian, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at his nephew’s home.

Born August 9, 1921, he was the son of the late Amos and Elizabeth (Weaver) Korb.

Ralph graduated from Brady Township High School. He worked as a dairy farmer. Ralph was a member of the Salem Grange and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Luthersburg. He enjoyed spending time with family and visiting with friends. He made his home with Ethel McGaughey for 23 years before her passing in 2016.

Ralph is survived by his nieces and nephews, Frank DeLarme, Grampian, Ralph (Deborah) DeLarme, DuBois, Ruth (Jerry) Paulinellie, Luthersburg, Hope DeLarme, DuBois, George DeLarme, Grampian, and Mardelle (Jeff) Rishel, Cooperstown, MD, as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

The family would like to thank Denise Derrick and Amanda English for their dedicated help caring for Ralph.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen DeLarme Waite and Mae Anna Korb, two nieces, Mary and Sharon DeLarme, and a nephew, David DeLarme.

A graveside service will be held at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery on Sunday, April 11 at 3 p.m. with LaMarr Adamson C.L.P. officiating. To adhere to current regulations, masks must be worn and social distancing will be practiced.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.

Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.
