Ralph “R.J.” Bruzga

Ralph “R.J.” Bruzga, age 67, Jefferson Street, Brookville, PA died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in DuBois, PA.

Born October 26, 1948 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph A. & Ann R. (Stanchus) Bruzga.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. and served during the Vietnam War.

R.J. retired as a senior bridge inspector from Kimball Engineering.

He was a life member of Goodwill Hose Co. #5, the Falls Creek and Brookville Eagles, the Olympic Athletic Club, and was a member and past president of the former Lithuanian Independence Club. He was also a member of the James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

R. J. is survived by two children: Tracy Gordon and her husband, Jeffrey, Esq. of Brookville, PA and Michael Bruzga and his wife, Chica of Sasebo City, Japan, a sister, Carol Dunlap and her husband, Robert of DuBois, PA and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Werner and a great nephew, Damien Dunlap.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 1-4 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.

A private family committal service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery the next day where full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard.
