Rebecca M. Arthurs Library to Host Songs and Soliloquies: An Evening with the Bard November 18-20

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Rebecca M. Arthurs Library is hosting the Songs and Soliloquies: An Evening with the Bard from Friday, November 18, to Sunday, November 20.

The event will begin each night at 7:00 p.m.

The Rebecca M. Arthurs Library will present its third benefit of 2016 to commemorate 400 years since the death of the great William Shakespeare.

To celebrate all the Bard has gifted, Drew Leigh Williams (Clarion University Theatre Faculty) has tailored this production to weave popular (and lesser known) monologues in with songs from musicals based on Shakespeare’s works, such as Kiss me Kate, West Side Story, The Lion King and more.

Join featured artists, Deanna Owens and Nathan Mohney, plus local talent of all ages, as they honor the poetry and concepts of this brilliant playwright.

The event will be held in the McCracken Hall located at 395 Main Street, Brookville.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and are available at the Rebecca M. Arthurs Library or online at rmalib.org.
