PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Quality Gear, located outside of Punxsutawney on Walston Road, has recently occupied additional space enabling expanded operations for the business.
The addition brings the total size of the shop to 12,000 square feet.
The additional space allows Quality Gear to accommodate more machinery.
The operation currently employs 11 people and utilizes 6 CNC lathes, 2 CNC milling machines, approximately 20 gear cutting machines, and several traditional and specialty lathes.
Michael Renwick is the General Manager of the operation which is a division of HyTech Machine Company of Cranberry, Pa.
