Rep. Dush Offering Veterans Assistance Hours in Brookville and Punxsutawney

dushBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT)  — Rep. Cris Dush (R-Jefferson/Indiana) has teamed up with the American Legion to offer monthly veterans assistance hours at his Brookville and Punxsutawney district offices.

Beginning Thursday, this service will be available at the Brookville district office, 73 South White St., Suite 2, on the last Thursday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Appointments can be made by calling (814) 849-8008.

Beginning Friday, April 7, veterans assistance hours will be available at the Punxsutawney district office, 109 Indiana St., Suite 3, on the first Friday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Appointments can be made by calling (814) 938-4225.

“I encourage my fellow veterans throughout the 66th District to take advantage of this new monthly outreach,” Dush said. “We are fortunate to have the capabilities to assist our local veterans in this capacity, and I hope they find this service valuable.”

Some of the services that can be provided to veterans and their dependents through this monthly outreach include assistance with compensation, pension, death benefits, education and health care, as well as any issues pertaining to veterans benefits. Veterans do not need to be a member of any service organization to participate.
