Report of Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Drug Arrest in Brookville

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a report of a suspicious vehicle at a motel in Brookville on Thursday led to a drug arrest.

Around 3:20 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, Brookville Borough Police were dispatched to the Super 8 Motel for a report of a suspicious vehicle switching parking spots.

Police say at the scene, they found a 20-year-old female attempting to sleep in the parking lot.

According to police, when the woman stepped out of her vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana was detected, and upon further questioning, the woman admitted to using marijuana.

A small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was then surrendered to police by the woman, police say.

Charges of marijuana possession and possession of paraphernalia are pending.

The name of the woman was not released.
