Retail Theft Reported at Truck Stop in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, around 1:45 a.m. on February 20, a retail theft occurred at Flying J Truck Stop in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police say during a business check at Flying J Truck Stop, they were alerted by an eye witness that 37-year-old Michael R. Dion of Racine, WI, attempted to exit the store with 3 DVD’s without paying for them.

Dion was reportedly attempting to conceal the DVD’s inside his shirt then put the VD’s down and ran out of the store, according to police.

Brookville Police confronted him in his vehicle parked outside in the parking lot.

He was escorted to the Brookville Police Station, finger printed, and issued a citation for retail theft.

The citation is being filed at the office of District Magistrate Gregory Bazylak.
