Reynoldsville Man Arrested for DUI in Punxsutawney

Police sirenPUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police report a DUI arrest was made at the intersection of Clark Street and North Findley Street in Punxsutawney Borough, Jefferson County.

According to police, a traffic stop was conducted on December 26.

The driver, 21-year-old Chad Hetrick of Reynoldsville, was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Hetrick is facing the following charges:

  • DUI: Gen Imp/Inc of Driving Safely – 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
  • DUI: High Rte of Alc (Bac.10 – .16) 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
  • Improper Sunscreening, Summary
  • Careless Driving, Summary

Hetick is awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for January 27, 2015 with Magisterial District Judge Douglas Robert Chambers.
