PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney Borough Police say a DUI arrest was made at 203 Orchard Avenue, Punxsutawney, Jefferson County.
On January 11, police received a request to respond to the above location for a vehicle that struck a building.
On arrival, police say it was found that the driver – 34-year-old Sara Jane Donato, of Reynoldsville – was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
A criminal complaint was filed on January 30 at Magisterial District Judge Douglas Robert Chambers’ office.
Donato faces the following charges:
- DUI: Incapable of Safely Operating Vehicle – 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
- DUI: Gen Imp (BAC .08 – .10) 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
- Driving W/O A License, Summary
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on March 10 with Judge Chambers presiding.
