Reynoldsville Woman Accused of DUI, Resisting Arrest

handcuffsWINSLOW TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Around 2:15 a.m. on May 2, a Reynoldsville woman was arrested for DUI and resisting arrest on Sportsman Dam Road, in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

DuBois-based State Police say the suspect is a known, 41-year-old Reynoldsville woman.

According to police, the suspect’s vehicle was stuck in a ditch along Sportsman Dam Road.

The suspect was found passed out in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running, police say.

When the suspect was awakened, she became combative, according to police.

While speaking with her, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was evident on her breath, police say.

She refused to get out of the vehicle and was removed, according to police.

The known female was subsequently arrested for DUI, Resisting Arrest, and other summary traffic charges, police say.

Charges are pending blood results, according to police.

The name of the suspect was not released.
