Richard C. (Trix) Gilhousen

Scan0008Richard C. (Trix) Gilhousen, 59, of Main Street Rimersburg passed away on Thursday March 10, 2016 at UPMC Seneca. 

He was born on December 18th 1956 in Brookville, the son of the late Everett Gilhousen and Connie Anthony Gilhousen and she survives.

Trix graduated from Union High School.

He was of the Methodist faith.

In his earlier years he worked for the Archway cookie factory in Rimersburg.

More recently he worked for Penn Dot for over twenty years recently obtaining the position of Forman.

He was a member the VFW post 7132 in Rimersburg, and also a member of the Clarion Eagles Club.

He is survived by his mother: three daughters Kayla D. Gilhousen of Akron OH: Keirstin R. Gilhousen of Clarion: and Katelyn M. Gilhousen of Rimersburg. One Sister Kelli Painter and husband Pete of Kittanning: Two half-brothers Todd Gilhousen and wife Kathy of Rimersburg: Butch Gilhousen of Indiana PA: A nephew Curtis Emings and wife Dani of New Bethlehem: An Aunt Kathy Radaker and husband Don of Middletown Indiana: A cousin Tal Radaker and wife Courtney of Fishers Indiana. He is also survived by his Companion his dog Bailey.

Richard was preceded in death by his Father. His great grandmother Catherine Anthony, his grandmother Lillian (Bill) Nelson, His Nephew Tyler Radaker: and an uncle Elmer Butch Nelson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 13th 2016 from 1 to 4 P.M. at the Burns Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc. 434 Main Street Rimersburg.

Funeral Services will follow at 4 P.M. in the funeral home with the Pastor John Milliron pastor of the Baker Street Church of God In Rimersburg presiding.

Interment will be Private and held at a later date.
