Richard K.” Dick” Long

Richard K.” Dick” Long, age 77, of Reynoldsville, PA died Thursday Dec. 9. 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.

Born on March 30, 1944 in Panic, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Beulah (Dunmire) Long.

On October 19, 1963 he married his wife of 58 years, Velma (Mottern) Long. She survives.

Dick retired as a self-employed truck driver.

He enjoyed gardening, hunting, restoring tractors, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Dick is also survived by his children (Brenda Town and her husband John of Brockway and Richard Long and his wife Jocelyn of Reynoldsville), four grandchildren (Brent Sprague, Haley-Deanne Town, Heath Long, and Richelle Long) and two great grandchildren (Makayla Town and Elise Sprague) and step great grandchildren (Chloe & Alexis Waclawik) and 1 brother.

He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

There will be no public visitation and a funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
