Roberta L. Sickeri, a resident at Highland View Health Care in Brockway, PA., died on Wednesday, May 2, at Highland View.
Born on June 7, 1932, in DuBois, PA., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Susan (Platco) Renwick. She was married to Joseph Sickeri, Sr., and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1993.
Before retiring, Roberta had been employed at Brockway Glass as a Packer for 17 years. She was a member at Moorhead United Methodist Church. Roberta enjoyed listening to music, especially Bon Jovi, sitting on her porch, playing bingo at Highland View, and watching The Young and the Restless.
She is survived by a daughter Lori (David) Holben of Brockway; two sons: Steve (Christine) Sickeri and Joseph (Jamie) Sickeri, Jr., both of Brockway; a brother Richard (Beverly) Renwick of Brockway, and a sister Helen Bish, also of Brockway. Roberta is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Schutz, and two step-sons, Peter and Richard T. Sickeri.
Calling hours will be on Friday, May 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home, Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, at 10:30 a.m. also at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Trask officiating. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery.
