Ronald “Ron” Eberly, of DuBois died Nov. 2, 2016, in Conemaugh Memorial Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown, Pa., after a short illness.
He was born Nov. 26, 1957, in DuBois, the son of Glenn and Madolyn Eberly.
He graduated from DuBois Area High School.
He worked as a partner for M&H Home Improvements in Tonawanda, N.Y., for many years, returned to Sykesville and worked for various companies.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn R. Eberly; his infant son; and his nephew, Aidan Eberly.
He is survived by his mother, Madolyn R. Eberly; his wife, Kathy (Wray) Eberly; four daughters: Stacey Shimmel of Reynoldsville, Ronnie Jo Dixon of Luthersburg; Conney Brockett of Sykesville and Sandra Lackey of St. Marys; nine grandchildren; a brother, David E. Eberly, of DuBois; and a sister, Brenda K. Gamble, of Sykesville.
There will be a private memorial service for family at a later date.
