Ronnie Ray “Tack” Carroll, 67, of DuBois, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Penn Highlands after a lengthy illness.
He was born October 30, 1949 in Middletown, OH. He is the son of the late Herbert Ray & Josephine (Huff) Carroll.
He was married to Debra (Marshall) Carroll on September 5, 1974, she survives in DuBois.
Ronnie was a graduate of Middletown High School. Ronnie was also a graduate of TDDS Truck Driving School with honors & was over the road team driver with his son Michael. He was most recently a bus driver for Clepper Bus Services.
Ronnie attended Temple Baptist Church in DuBois. He enjoyed fishing & story telling.
Ronnie is also survived by his two sons Michael (Beverly) Carroll of NC and Gregory (Carrie) Carroll Sr of St. Mary’s, two sisters Wilda (Keith) Jackson & Jenny Mae Willhoite all of OH, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Danville Carroll.
Friends will be received on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10am until 11am at Temple Baptist Church 590 Lincoln Dr, DuBois, PA 15801.
A memorial service will follow at 11am at the church, with Pastor Kevin Orndorff officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
