Rose M. Campbell, 69, of New Bethlehem, died early Monday morning, March 9, 2015, at the Clarion Hospital.
Born April 8, 1945 in Fairmount City, Clarion County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E “Pete” and Margaret I. “Dolly” (Myers) Travis. On May 3, 1967, she married Charles B. Campbell and he preceded her in death on May 27, 1997.
Rose was a homemaker and formerly worked at Blose’s Greenhouse.
Rose is survived by two sons, Larry C. “Chuck” Campbell and Laura Varner and William E. Campbell and wife Stacey, both of New Bethlehem, three grandchildren, Laci Campbell, Riley Campbell and Mason Campbell, a sister, Shirley Mohney of Richmond, Ohio and two brothers, Lawrence Travis, Jr. and wife Carrie of Knox and Boyd Travis and wife Pat of Fairmount City.
Rose’s wish was to be cremated.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of God in New Bethlehem.
A memorial service will be held at the church at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Phillips officiating.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
