Rose M. Stiffler

Rose M. Stiffler, age 78, a resident at Highland View Health Care in Brockway, PA; died on Friday September 30, 2021.

Born on November 21, 1942 in North Tonawanda, NY; she was the daughter of the late Viola Rudzick.

On May 7, 1965 she was married to Harry Stiffler and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1981.

Retired, Rose had been employed at Highland View for 20 years in the House Keeping Department.

She was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway.

Rose enjoyed working on all sorts of puzzles, going on long drives and watching old TV programs.

Rose also had a love/hate relationship with the Pittsburgh Steelers that made her family roar with laughter.

She also was a huge Elvis fan.

She is survived by a son Kenneth (Sandra) Stiffler of Erie, PA; 8 grandchildren: Matthew Ehrgott, Emily Cramer, Andrew Ehrgott, Alexis Stiffler, Jeremy Ehrgott, Cameron Faust, Garrett Faust and Orin Stiffler as well as 2 great grandchildren Natalie and Joshua.

In addition to her mother and her husband she is also preceded in death by 3 daughters: Jennifer Stiffler, Jacqueline Ehrgott, Rhonda Stiffler, a sister Catherine Taylor and a granddaughter Avery Stiffler.

Calling hours will be on Monday, October 4 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 5 at 10 AM at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding.

Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery.
