Rose Marie Mealy

Rose MealyRose Marie Mealy, 90, of Lake Lucy in Tionesta, PA, died peacefully on May 8, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA with her son by her side.

Born June 17, 1926 in Willoughby, OH, she was the only child of the late Llewellyn Phelps and Mary Elizabeth (Morgret) Barbour.

Rose attended Andrew’s School for Girls and graduated from Willoughby High School.

She was married to the late Donald T. Wilson who preceded her in death. She then married the late Raymond E. Mealy of Lake Lucy, he also preceded her in death.

Rose worked in the business office of the Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby until the birth of her son. She later worked at the Lake Lucy Restaurant.

She attended the Marienville Church of God until its closing. She loved the Lord and her bible.

Rose loved life, loved people and animals; especially her dog, Paco.

She enjoyed Penguins hockey and Pirates baseball.

She liked the outdoors, hiking, and swimming. She also liked playing the organ and piano. She played in the Marienville Kitchen Band. She loved riding on the back of her son’s motorcycle.

She is survived by her only child, a son, Kevin T. Wilson of Tionesta.

Interment will be in the Wolf’s Corners Cemetery.
