Rosemary Troese

Member_132192Rosemary Troese, 83, of Clarion, passed away Friday March 14, 2014, at the Clarion Hospital.

Born October 19, 1930 in Jefferson County; she was the daughter of Walter R. and Laura A. Allshouse Priester.

She was married on February 1, 1951 to the late Victor Troese.

She worked for Sylvania in Brookville in the payroll department and later she worked in the office and as a hostess for her family business, The Captain Loomis in Clarion.

Rosemary was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the American Legion Post 066 in Clarion.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Vicki Rose Troese Walker and her husband Keith of New Jersey, John (Jack) Troese and his wife Thizbea of Clarion, and Mike Troese and his wife Ann of Clarion; Seven Grandchildren, Grace, Emily, Victor, & Michael Troese and Anthony, Thomas Sarvey & Alex Struble. A brother, Gary Martin Moore of Arizona; A sister, Iva Marie (Patty) Moore of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-father, Harold Moore; and her husband, Victor.

Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. & 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Monday March 17, 2014, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion with Father Monty Sayers Pastor as presider. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
